Contents.Gameplay Ultima Online continued the tradition of previous games in many ways, but due to advancing technology and the simple fact that it was Origin's first online game, many new game mechanics appeared. Partially designed as a social and economic experiment, the game had to account for widespread player interaction as well as deal with the tradition of players feeling as if they were the center of attention, as had been the case in single-player games. So I've been playing around with including some new house designs for placement in a custom UO shard.I have been a pseudo-fan of the custom housing system Ultima later introduced. By that I mean that I love its potential for creativity and some of the amazing structures people develop. Unfortunately, I feel that the blatant eyesores outweigh the good and chip away at the atmosphere of Ultima Online.We tried to make a big selection of new homes for players to select from that hopefully they would like but wouldn't look out of place in Ultima Online.Now, back at the grinding stone, trying to think of some new ideas. Some of these are just 'messing around' and not as likely to make an appearance (eg.

That wagon house).Someone had a suggestion of these being deeds as rare items; people could try to obtain and collect them and you would still need the corresponding gold cost in your bank to place.
