The safe assumption would be that the game would be coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC, though a Switch version is the true question mark at this time. Likewise, given Bethesda’s penchant for revealing and releasing games relatively close to their launch window or date, hopefully we’ll see Rage 2 arrive by the end of the year.The game itself will be a follow-up to that took heavy inspiration from post-apocalyptic fare like the Mad Max series, though at this time it’s unclear if id Software or another team (inside or outside of Bethesda Game Studios) is taking on this project. However, based on the teaser trailer (and the previously-released teaser images), it seems like Rage 2 might be taking on a far more lighthearted and comical tone compared to its predecessor.

Overall I don't think the early reveal affects what they're showing at E3 too much since they'll likely just show it again/extended versions of it plus whatever else they have loaded for E3(definitely more than just RAGE 2).
